After recovering from an incident that sent him to the last place at the start of the race, Esteban Gutiérrez managed to finish the Race All-Star Series in tenth position.
Esteban finished the first round of the day in fifth position, thus getting his pass to the Final. Although he qualified to start the last race in eighth place, a contact in the first corner sent him to the 19th position and he had to fight to gradually recover positions.
With this result, Esteban continues to demonstrate that the hours he has invested in his daily training for virtual races are giving positive results.
“I feel a lot of progress after having qualified eighth in the final race. I finished tenth after I got pulled out of the first corner of the race. These are very competitive races having drivers who are full-time dedicated to virtual races, so it has been a great challenge for me to get up to date with their experience.
“I finish this race with a good feeling, and I will continue training to cut even more time to soon be fighting in the first positions”, Esteban explained.
This week, Esteban will broadcast his training sessions Tuesday and Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Mexico time through his Twitch channel “EstebanGtz”, as he will be preparing for the third official round of F1 Esports, which will be held on April 19th at the China’s virtual circuit.
